Youth and Adult Events

Our youth and adult events provide individuals with education and connection.

Events and Trips

4ward Inclusion provides direct programming to 4 groups- youth, educators, caregivers/parents, and community organizations. Our events include quarterly events that are free to community members, and take our scholars on trips! Our community events are open to the public and provide space for individuals to engage to improve social issues impacting them. This grassroots work prioritizes education, exploration, and empowerment.

Participate in our workshops to build skills to Move 4ward which we define as one’s ability to shift, change, and recover.

IYL Suit Fitting Trip

4ward Inclusion holds the Innovative Young Leaders program for High School Juniors and Seniors on Saturdays. The 12-week program provides leadership development, financial literacy, and mental and emotional wellness. Many adults do not experience a custom suit fitting in their lifetime, so we partner with a Black-owned company to have our students fitted and provide them with custom suits after the completion of our program.

March --: Canceled due to COVID-19 Pandemic

By the end of this event, parents and educators will be more prepared to prevent bully behavior from happening in the first place.

About this event

March continues our Bully Prevention and the Abuse of Power series! We will be hosting multiple workshops during the first few two weeks of March. Please select tickets for the event that you would like to attend. Pay special attention to the date and location, each event will last 90-minutes.

In just five years, the number of reported bully incidents has increased by over 10 percent in New York City schools. At the same time, at least 64 percent of youth do not report bully behavior in their schools. This workshop will prepare educators, parents and community members to notice bully behavior recurring, and to prevent the behavior from happening in New York City schools, communities and homes.

During this workshop, we will engage in a number of activities that promote moments of vulnerability for community building, and learning that will be beneficial as youth are entering adulthood.

The event will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Snacks will be provided.
